PSC Girls Triumph at IAPS Regatta
Bright sunshine, 6 knots of wind and the wonderful location of the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy provided the backdrop for the 2nd IAPS National U11 Sailing Regatta on Thursday 19th May.
Representing Hoe Bridge School, Hannah Birchall and Pollyanna Wright, Papercourt Optimist sailors, took to the seas in double handed Laser Pico sailing dinghies.
A fabulous day was had by all 64 competitors, representing their schools from all corners of the UK.
Hannah and Pollyanna secured 1st place in the Silver Fleet, bringing home the Gold medals. They are pictured here with Olympic Gold Medallists Ben Ainslie and Andrew Simpson.
