Club Boat Hire at Papercourt

Papercourt has a number of boats available for members to hire on a daily basis. Club boats are not available for hire to visitors. We currently have:

• 6 Optimists
• 6 Fevas
• 2 RS Visions
• 1 Topper
• 1 Graduate
• 1 Mirror

The charge is £15 per day (or part day) for a Feva or Vision, and £10 per day (or part day) for the other classes.

Occasionally some boats may be pre-booked for training or some other event, or may be out of commission. On Saturday mornings in the summer, the Optimists may only be hired by beginners attending the organised club training sessions.

The member is responsible for the boat and should take due regard of their own experience and the weather conditions. All club boats are clearly marked with PSC on both sides of the sail, followed by a number. Any faults or breakages should be notified to the OOD (Officer of the Day) who will enter an appropriate comment in the hire book.

How do I hire a club boat?

Booking is through the OOD (Officer of the Day) in person at the club on the day of hire. Boats are available on a first come first served basis.
