Rules Question Time
Have you come off worst in a run in with the rules recently?
Have you come off the water feeling hard done by, confused, baffled by sailing jargon?
Are you having trouble with the new rules that were introduced since January 1st?
Bring your case along to the Rules Question Time at the clubhouse on Wednesday 25th March at 8 pm. The chairman of the panel, Mr Andrew (Dimbleby) Boyce, is one of the worst offenders and will be ably assisted by another who has sailed close to the wind, Mr Mike Ball. Fortunately the panel is rounded off by our own RYA umpire, Mr Martin Smith.
We will start with an explanation of the changes to the rules that were introduced on January 1st and then take questions from the audience. If you can, please send me an email with your questions beforehand (phone number in members' list which you should all have). If not bring them along on the night.
