Solo AGM at PSC - 10 November 2011

The AGM was well attended. I reported that financially we ended the year
with a small surplus which made up for the deficit last year- Greece and
Italy please note!
John Cripps presented the results for the year and once again the Fleet had
been very well represented in the club results:
the Winter Series - Balls Bowl went to Roger Puttock; 
Summer Salver to Dave Sanders;
Early Summer Plate to Giles Maltby;
Late Summer Plate to Monica Vidal;
Travelller's Trophy to Mike Ball;
Nash Endeavour Trophy to Chris Alderman;
and Captain's Cup to Ken Pearce.
Congratulations to everyone.
I am also pleased to report that Jonathan Farnell was unanimously voted in
as our next Fleet Captain ( email-nojsailingnut@hotmail.co.uk <

make sure its in your address book). Jonathan has been sailing all his life,
ran a sailing school and recently did his yachtmasters- what better
credentials. We look forward to him putting a bit of stick about! The date
and venue for the Solo Supper is decided - more of this from Johnathan.
Last shout- Solo Association membership is now due. Are you a member if not
why not! There is a £5 bounty for members for introducing a new member- I am
happy to give this to anyone who would like to become a member-any other
