Proposed "Let's Race" Day - Saturday 16th April
We are planning to run a day encouraging people to have a go at racing. It is aimed at those who have already been racing and would like extra support as well as those who have never tried it before and would like to give it a go. The format of the day would involve a brief classroom session about flags and a few basic racing rules, followed by races on the water with coaching and support. We would find experienced sailors to accompany people in 2 man boats if required as well as coaching from safety boats for those in single handed boats or sailing 2 man boats with friends.
The aim of the day is to have fun, build on skills and increase confidence. All skills and abilities welcome. We need to know if a day like this would be wanted and supported by members.

Please could I have all expressions of interest by Saturday 2nd April so we can determine if there is enough interest to run this day and to arrange enough experienced sailors to accompany and support on the day.
