There is a thriving RS200 fleet at Papercourt with over 20 boats now at the Club. It’s a modern design with an asymmetric spinnaker making it a quick boat, easy to sail and great fun on the water.
A number of Club members are active in the national RS circuit and the turnout for Club competitions is increasing. We hope this will continue to develop in 2014 especially as the class continues to grow at Papercourt.
There is a wide mix of skill levels at the Club, from those with seasoned nationals experience to relative newcomers, across a range of age groups, and the approach is very much “all welcome”! We run winter training sessions and hold an Open Meeting in October. The fleet is friendly and welcoming and if you’d like to sail a 200, please get in touch either via the email above or the Club ‘pigeonholes’. If you are interested in crewing an RS200 it would also be great to hear from you as boat owners are often looking for someone to sail with. You could also check the notice board for “crews wanted”.
See you on the water!

RS200 Nationals 2016
Our RYA Principal, Tom Key, and Crew, David Hodgson, made the trip to Mounts Bay in Cornwall for the RS200 Nationals. Unfortunately the wind was either too much or too little for many of the race days, but the lads still achieved their goals of having fun and not coming last!
