General
- Please do not come to the club if you are feeling unwell in any way or have any of the Covid symptoms.
- There are two hand held thermometers in the hall, please use these to check your temperature on arrival.
- We have installed many sanitiser stations in the building, please use them as well as washing your hands regularly.
- Keep your distance (Follow the current social distancing rules at all times – 2 metres or 1 metre plus with mitigation.)
- Please comply with government guidelines regarding group size – absolutely no more than 6 persons in any group – it’s the law. Individuals and groups to remain socially distanced at all times.
Changing Rooms
- Please follow government guidance and come changed and go home to change if possible. Only use the changing rooms where necessary. (E.g. after a capsize)
- Please continue to use the disabled toilets as a first port of call to minimise traffic in the changing rooms.
- Changing rooms have been marked out into bays to ensure those using them are socially distanced.
- If you use the changing rooms please do so as quickly as possible, then leave.
- Remove your kit from the changing rooms when you vacate them and place them back in your car.
- Maximum capacity for both changing rooms is set at 6. Do not breach this and please be patient
- We have changed the fans to improve ventilation in the rooms
- When in use please ensure the windows are opened to further improve ventilation
- Please wipe down the area you are using before and after use with the cleaners/disinfectant provided
Security Lockers
- Security lockers are in use but please sanitise before and after using the keys.
Clubhouse
- As far as possible try and stay outside, as this is safer. We will be leaving the gazebo up this winter to provide extra shelter assuming it does not blow away.
- If you go in the clubhouse follow the rules below.

- As we are using our CCTV for track and trace records compliance, if you do bring guests to the club, please ensure they record their names and contact details in the visitors’ book.
- If going to the galley only, please follow the guidance tape/arrows.
- When the clubhouse is in use, the galley fan is to be turned on plus windows and doors to be opened to aid ventilation.
- Please use the santiser available on each table.
- Please do not move the furniture around as this may breach social distancing compliance.
