Byelaw 13.13 is amended with effect from 1 May 2021, as follows:
“13.13 Dogs belonging to a member or their guests may only be permitted in the restricted fenced area on the lawn in front of the clubhouse (as shown highlighted on the attached plan) and the car park for the purposes of setting off or returning from a walk subject to the following conditions:
(a) the dog is under proper control at all times on a short lead and is not left unattended at any time;
(b) the dog behaves in a quiet and non-disruptive manner;
(c) the dog shows no signs of aggression towards people or other animals;
(d) any mess must be cleared up immediately and taken home by the dog owner for disposal;
(e) members are required to have personal liability insurance.
Failure to comply with any of the above, will mean the dog must at the request of any member be removed from the area mentioned.
Any complaints should be addressed in writing to the Secretary in accordance with Papercourt Sailing Clubs Conduct of Members Bye Law 9.9.
Assistance dogs only are permitted to enter the clubhouse or boat park.”
